Het Bisschoppelijk College was gevestigd op het terrein omgrensd door de Wilhelmina\u00adsingel, Nieuwe Markt en Molenstraat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #666666;\">Ter plaatse van het huidige plein was vroeger de zogenaamde Cour (binnenplein). In november 1962 woedde er een felle brand en werden de gebouwen langs de Molenstraat verwoest. Het scheelde niet veel of ook het monumentale Oude Muntgebouw (thans opgenomen in winkelcentrum de Munt) was een prooi van de vlammen geworden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #666666;\">Een klein beeldje nabij de ingang van de Muntpassage herinnert nog aan de vroegere \u00adaanwezigheid van het Bisschoppelijk College. Aan het Collegeplein is nu de centrale ingang van het Munttheater.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<div  class='flex_column av-av_one_half-52c89597409f646e66e7cc675a5d9b4a av_one_half
