Munt\u2019 Molenstraat en liep door tot aan de Wilhelminasingel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #666666;\">Helaas heeft het Muntcomplex het oude stratenpatroon doorbroken. Bij huisnummer 6 ligt caf\u00e9 de Harmonie, vroeger caf\u00e9 van Dooren. De van Dooren\u2019s hebben altijd een bijzondere rol gespeeld in het Weerter muziekwereldje en in 1954 werd er zelfs een van Doorens harmonie opgericht, die hier repeteerde. In 1954 werd het ook clublokaal van harmonie St.-Antonius. Maar ook andere verenigingen hadden hier hun clublokaal waaronder diverse vastenavondclubjes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #666666;\">Het Muntgebouw staat centraal in de Muntpassage, een winkel- en cultuurmaat\u00adschappelijke ontmoetingsruimte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #666666;\">V\u00f3\u00f3r de ingang van de Muntpassage ligt de Oude Munt. Hier sloeg Philips van Montmorency, beter bekend als \u201cde laatste graaf van Horne\u201d zijn munten. Het is een van de weinige nog bewaard gebleven muntgebouwen in ons land. Het huidige gebouw dateert uit de 16-17de eeuw. Bij de restauratie in 1974 zijn alle voorgaande herstellingen met opzet zichtbaar gebleven.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\"
